The course content includes analysis of the principles of behavior management and application of these principles to the solving of classroom management problems. In addition, there will be specific focus on current practice and research on the evaluation and treatment services for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). This course includes 20 hours of field experience. This course is in partial fulfillment of the requirements for State Endorsement in Autism Administrative Rule 6A-4.01796 2(c) Behavior management and positive behavior supports for students with autism.
